A major supermarket in Butler runs production baking through two Technobake ovens. Both units had developed display faults alongside worn door seals. With production baking scheduled and food safety compliance depending on accurate temperature monitoring, the site needed both ovens returned to full, documented operation before the next shift.

What Was Happening

Both Technobake ovens had failed display screens, meaning operators could not reliably read or confirm oven settings during production. One oven also had a deteriorated door seal on the right-hand side double cavity. For a food production environment, running equipment you cannot accurately monitor is an audit risk, not just an inconvenience. Neither oven could be signed off as fully compliant in their current state.

How It Was Handled

Benjamin attended site, signed in, and confirmed with staff before isolating each oven in turn. Both display screens were replaced and fully configured with the correct operating settings before handover. The door seal on the right-hand double oven was replaced in the same visit. Rubbish was removed from site. Both ovens were returned to operation the same day, with all work asset-referenced and documented.

The Result

Both Technobake ovens were returned to full monitored operation within a single visit. Asset records were updated for both units. The operator received complete documentation covering parts replaced, settings confirmed, and asset numbers, ready for any compliance review.

Why PEMS

Attending a food production site means understanding that documentation is not optional. Every asset gets a reference. Every replaced item gets recorded. That paper trail is what makes a maintenance visit worth having.
