A new Technobake oven arrived at a major supermarket's deli in Ellenbrook.
Getting it there was the full job.
The oven had to come up via forklift onto the loading dock before it could move anywhere near the kitchen. Once inside, the hood clearance would not allow it into position. The hood came up, the unit went in, and the space was cleared and made safe before any installation work began.
What Was Happening
A new Technobake oven was being commissioned into a live deli environment. The site had specific access requirements, clearance constraints that only showed themselves once the unit was in the space, and a drainage cut-to-suit that needed to happen on the floor. This is the kind of install where the paperwork says "connect and commission" and the job is twice that.
How It Was Handled
Benjamin arrived, coordinated with the site supervisor, managed the forklift lift to the loading dock, unpacked the unit, and worked through the clearance issue before the oven went into its final position. Water supply, drain, and the three-way valve were all installed on the day. Late in the process, the water supply was found to have no connection in the roof cavity. A return visit was confirmed to complete commissioning.
The Result
The oven was in position, made safe, and ready for the return visit. The drainage and valve work was complete. The operator had a clear handover on what remained and when it would be finished.
Why PEMS
When an install runs into access problems, clearance surprises, or an incomplete building connection, the job does not stop. It gets documented, managed, and finished in the next available window without the operator having to chase.
