The Fault

The bench mixer had a failed capacitor, which left the motor unable to start. The issue was compounded when the whisk attachment on the loan unit provided during the interim period was found to be incompatible, preventing kitchen staff from using the temporary equipment effectively while a permanent solution was sourced. The Repair

The Outcome

The aged care kitchen returned to full operation with a brand-new bench mixer installed and staff fully trained on it. Continuity of meal service for residents was maintained throughout the entire repair and replacement period. At no point was the kitchen without a working mixer.
