Commercial Dishwasher Installation Victoria Park

A commercial kitchen in Victoria Park was in the final stretch of a new setup. A Hobart dishwasher and extraction hood had arrived on site, trades were still working through the space, and the operator needed everything connected, tested, and signed off before service could start.

What Was Happening

The dishwasher and hood arrived ready to install, but the site was not yet ready for them. On the first attendance, plumbing, drainage, and electrical connections were still incomplete. The equipment could be assembled, but testing and commissioning had to wait. A follow-up was scheduled for when the site was ready. This is not a failure. It is how a proper installation sequence is managed.

How It Was Handled

Once power and services were connected, the team returned and commissioned the dishwasher fully. Tanks were brought to operating temperature. The unit was run through complete cycles and confirmed performing correctly before the job was closed. The extraction hood was also installed as part of the same scope. Nothing was signed off until the equipment was verified working under real conditions.

The Result

The operator received a fully commissioned dishwasher and extraction hood, documented across multiple site attendances. Every stage was recorded. The operator was not handed keys and a hope. They received a kitchen ready for service, with a paper trail to support it.

Why PEMS

When a site is not ready on day one, the right response is to document what is incomplete and return when conditions allow. Signing off equipment that has not been properly tested creates problems downstream. That did not happen here.

If you are commissioning new kitchen equipment in Perth or reviewing an existing install that was never properly tested, speak with the PEMS team. Call 08 7095 3550 or visit pemservices.com.au to arrange an assessment.
